McCarthy recently opened up about asking Carrey to maintain a relationship with her son since he is still asking about the actor, states RadarOnline. “I tell [Evan] that someday you’ll cross paths, meet again. . . [but] it’s hard. He’s been in therapy. It’s a process, he’s working on it,” McCarthy said. However, Carrey has reportedly been unresponsive to her requests which she claims has hurt both her and her son: “[A]s a mother, you just hope when you have a relationship with someone it has nothing to do with the child when you break up.” What do you think about the situation?
